Empowerment is defined as giving authority to, authorize, or give power to. To electrify someone is to equip, thrill, or excite greatly. Therefore, here are some tips that should be used to empower and electrify your leaders.
1. Coach people instead of trying to teach them.
Instead of telling leaders what had made you so successful, instead coach them and help them reach their goals in leadership. Giving them good advice is fine, but in times in the future, people reject good advice.
2. Give them responsibility and delegate a small role.
It's best to allow young leaders to have a sense of responsibility, but only delegating to them a small role. It's not entirely best to give them a huge role. Make sure, therefore, they get the right amount of work for what leadership they deserve. How to know? Start small.
3. Be an inspiration!
Always be an inspiration to your leaders. Say and do inspiring things that will satisfy their leadership, and bring them a sense of readiness.
When it comes to really helping young leaders, it is important to make sure that the leader is teachable, and that they want to do well.
They should take pleasure and delight in their disciplines in leadership, be humble unto their leader, respectful and honoring of authority, patient, and have vision of themselves working as a good leader in the future.
If they focus on God's help, this will ensure their reliance is in the right spot!
